An exhibition by young artists
The Art Room Charity offers art as therapy to children and young people aged 5-15 who are having serious difficulties and may be at risk of exclusion from school. They use art to raise their self esteem, confidence and independence and help them cope with their challenges and all come to The Art Room at a time when they most need it.
Students at the three Oxford Art Rooms have decorated clocks and chairs as part of their literacy programme. They have made the most creative and extraordinary puppets to be used for a puppet theatre that they have transformed from an old church Harmonium. They are thrilled that their work is being exhibited at The Dorchester Festival; it is a wonderful way to celebrate their success!
