Following the breathtaking sellout performances of Joseph in 2009, this year’s production of The Wizard of Oz is one of the ‘must see’ events in the programme. Performances of the Wizard of Oz are at 7:30 pm on 30 April and 1pm & 8pm on 1 May
Follow the yellow brick road over the rainbow to Dorchester Festival’s 2011 production of The Wizard of Oz. This amazing show features a superb cast, led by young talented star Polly Dow as Dorothy, full orchestral support from the Oxford Chamber Orchestra and professional special effects and lighting straight from the London production studios.
Click your heels together and join Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Dorothy and her little dog Toto, as they journey through the magical land of Oz to meet the Wizard and obtain their heart’s desires. Watch out for the Wicked Witch of the West and her winged monkeys as you rediscover the real story of Oz in this fantastic musical treat for all the family.
