Offerings by the sea

Cecilia Macfarlane is curating a programme of dance especially for this Festival based around the theme of the sea and coastal landscapes.

Amongst the many guests dancing in this programme, which will include Oxford based youth dance groups, are Crossover Intergenerational Dance Company, who will be returning to the Festival for the third time and will present an improvisation based on the coastal landscape.  Also included are  ‘Time and Tide’, a trio for a violinist and two dancers and 'The Coast is Clear' a guest performance by Coventry University dance undergraduates.  It will also feature 'Internal Waves', a dance film by graduates of Coventry University and, as usual, will showcase work by a soon to graduate dancer from Oxford Youth Dance, now studying at a London Dance Conservatoire.
